Let’s schedule your visit at Joy Vision!

For most issues I suggest 2 treatments/ week for 2-4 weeks then slow the frequency of the sessions until relief is felt consistently between treatments. It benefits most people to come in 1x/month as preventative maintenance to manage chronic complaints or just to stay well.

Your First Visit- Step By Step

  1. Check-In – We’ll greet you and check you in. Restroom available if needed.

  2. Get Settled – Head to your treatment room, remove your shoes, kick back in the recliner, and relax.

  3. Consultation & Evaluation – Erica Joy will chat with you and answer any questions. She will tailor the treatment to your condition.

  4. Treatment – If receiving acupuncture needles are placed, then you rest for 20–40 minutes. If laser, Erica Joy will place the laser on each chosen point for about 30 seconds each.

  5. Wrap-Up – Needles are removed and your treatment plan is discussed. Any other adjunct therapies are optional.

  6. Check-Out – Book your next session at the front desk and you’re good to go! Packages & memberships available.

  7. Post-Treatment - Most people feel a pleasant sense of wellbeing after acupuncture. Sometimes the results of treatment take a day or 2 to kick in. Please feel free to contact Erica Joy with questions, concerns, or feedback. These are therapies; it often takes a series of treatments to receive desired outcomes.

Acunova Only

  • There’s a 1-hour break between treatments. Relax at Local Wellness or explore nearby.

  • Plan for 2 hours total (or just over 1 hour for Laser Acunova).

  • For best results: Daily visits (Mon–Fri) for 2 weeks straight. Then maintanence 1 day/wk for 1 month. Then 1 day/month ongoing for management of degenerative eye diseases.

How It Works

3. Log on to choose a time to schedule or call or text.

4. Arrive a few minutes early to sign consent forms.

5. Our policy is pay at time of service or prepay with a package or membership. If you have insurance coverage we can provide you with a superbill (invoice with appropriate codes) for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
